Meet Brother Scott [Ep. 2 of 3]

Hi, thanks for dropping by or tuning in. I’m Brother Scott.

I know you’re, probably, here to find out more about me, if only because humans tend to be curious, especially when there is a disembodied voice spewing things in their ears and expecting others to, actually, hear them and be moved by them in some fashion. But before I tell you a very few things about me, I need to know if you’re ready to meet Jesus.

He is far more important than me, than you, than all of us, collectively, and even beyond all of Creation for He is the Creator of all things, and He must be given the praise, honor, glory, and respect He so richly deserves. And I’d rather you meet Him and know Him – before you actually meet Him face to face – without knowing anything about me. First things, first. We must prioritize, properly, and put the big things in, first, if we’re going to carefully pack our luggage for that great journey into the afterlife that we all face even when many scoff, jeer, smirk, ridicule, and pooh-pooh the notion.

So, do you believe in Jesus? Do you know Him, personally? I do. I believe in Jesus Christ. He’s my Lord & Savior and the Son of the True & Living God that the Bible speaks of; yes, that Bible. If I should die before I finish this sentence, I know where I’m going. My soul will go, immediately, to be with the Lord.

Now, if you think you know all there is to know about life, death, and beyond, and do not believe in God or the true believer’s afterlife in Heaven, or think the idea of Hell is absurd, that the Bible’s a bunch of fairy tales, that Jesus Christ is a myth, or that Christians are part of the problem or even the main cause of all the problems on Earth, then you’ve already clicked away. So be it. For many are called, but few are chosen. You have Free Will, and you use it daily to do your heart’s desire, if not God’s Will.

I understand. I love you, anyway, and I pray for your soul, daily. Even those of you who don’t believe in souls and such, I pray for you. That’s who I am because that’s who I’ve become, it’s who I’ve always been even when I didn’t realize it, and that’s all because of God’s Holy Spirit that dwells within me, which has changed me from the selfish sinner I was into a true believer in Jesus Christ who is King of kings & Lord of lords.

You don’t need to know me. You need to know Jesus. You don’t need to believe in me. You must believe in Jesus. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life and no one comes unto the Father in Heaven except by Jesus Christ.

God is real. The Bible is true. And Jesus Christ died for you. Believe in the name of Jesus and you shall be saved! It’s one of the most simple things to grasp so that even a child can understand. Yet, one of the hardest things to do because of the human heart and human pride. Human sin. Pride, ego, arrogance, conceit, selfishness, desires of the flesh, distractions of the world, and countless other sinful things keep us from turning back to God. Instead, we turn our backs on God while He patiently waits for us to turn around and come home to Him. Are you a prodigal Son or Daughter? Isn’t it time to come home? Don’t be stubborn. Let go and let God take you home.

There are billions of people who do not know Jesus Christ as Lord & Savior. There are over 8 billion souls on Earth, now, and most do not believe in Jesus as the Son of God and our Lord & Savior. There are many who claim there is nothing beyond this life or, simply, wish it to be so since they don’t want to be held responsible for their many poor decisions in life. If you don’t believe in souls and an afterlife, I guess it would make sense to not care, then, about the poor choices you’ve made, but where did you get the idea that there isn’t an afterlife or that you do not have a soul? Who told you that? Why did you believe them? What proof do you have? What evidence did they show you?

The world’s vast collection of literature, art, philosophy, and very long history of its many people groups, cultures, societies and belief systems almost all, overwhelmingly, have some concept of and belief in a higher power and an afterlife. Nearly all humans inherently feel that there must be more, which is understandable, since we are made in the image of the One True God, and I assure you there is oh, so much more than this starter life. This practice run. This spiritual school of hard knocks that tests you, tempts you, and troubles you, and will teach you some very important lessons that will determine whether you pass or fail.

Are you passing or failing? Are you at peace in your heart? In your mind? Are you calm and comfortable in your alleged all-knowing? Or are you troubled? By anything? Anyone?

Everything you see, hear, feel, think, smell, taste, swallow and wallow in, in this world of sin and darkness…doesn’t it give you any pause for some doubt, perhaps? Uncertainty? You’re just not completely sure, but you’ve got time, right? Uh, no. You could be dead before the end of this sentence, period. In fact, I assure you that many have died since you started listening to me.

Well, that’s heartwarming, Brother Scott. Glad I stopped by. Actually, Jesus is just that. Heartwarming. He is the answer. He has all the answers. Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and He wants you to believe in Him so that you may receive Eternal Life with Him in Heaven. Jesus is our Lord & Savior, whether you believe in Him or not. His blood atones for all the sins of all the world for all time. He is the perfect Lamb of God – the perfect sacrifice. The world needs a Savior. Thank God He gave us One. The only One in Jesus.

Passing into Eternity will happen for every soul. That’s guaranteed. However, it’s your location that’s the more important issue. As all good realtors and business people know, location is everything. Location, location, location. Do you know where you’re going to? Thank you, Diana Ross. I hope you knew Jesus. Heaven and Hell are very real. I hope you know the correct answer to the above question and have made a wise choice. Your Eternal Life depends upon it. Your very soul. You. Your consciousness. You are eternal. God-breathed. God-made.

Remember, earlier, when I said “If you are dying and about to take your last breath…”? Well, here’s the truth: You are dying. We all are. From the moment we’re born into this fallen world cursed by sin – dust become flesh and our spirit breathed into us from the Almighty One, above – we’re all just puny mortals rushing towards Death. And nobody knows when they’re going to take their last breath. No one knows how many heartbeats they have left. Time becomes the most valuable commodity no matter how much money you’ve saved or tucked away, no matter how powerful you have become, because none of us know how much time we have left to spend. Let us not squander this precious time. If we wait too late, no amount of gold or treasure can purchase another second of it, which is all the time it takes to say “Yes” to Jesus.

So, why wait? There are many reasons, but I’ll name some of the main ones that cause humans to put off accepting the greatest gift ever given. It’s a free gift and God wants you to receive it; so much so that He was willing to come to Earth and die for you. You and every other soul that’s ever lived.

God’s Holy Word reads in the Gospel of John, Chapter 3, verses 16 through 18:

16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

18 He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

– John 3:16-18 (NKJV)

Understand “name” to mean authority. You must believe in the name or authority of Jesus, the Son of God, who has been given all the authority to judge the world by God the Father. The Holy Spirit is the third part of the Holy Trinity. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Probably, the main reason humans do not accept Jesus Christ as their Lord & Savior is, simply, ignorance. I’m not saying we’re all dumb, just ignorant. We’re all ignorant of many things, though we may know some things very well.

Unfortunately, being the richest person on Earth, the most successful business person or politician, having the most fame, fortune, power or control in the world, or knowing how to do anything and everything in the world…won’t get you into Heaven. There’s only One way into Heaven and that’s through Jesus, for He is the door. You must know Jesus. Belief in Him, His name, His authority, is the key to unlocking the door to Heaven. Eternal life in paradise with God the Father. Believe in Jesus.

No one comes to Our Father in Heaven unless they go through Jesus Christ, His Only Son. You must Believe on Jesus to be saved. It’s just that simple, yet oh, so complex for those who think, say, and do everything they can to keep from accepting Him as their Lord & Savior. So, ignorance of this singular fact is, probably, at the top of the list of reasons why souls go to Hell. No human is sent to Hell. They must choose it. You have two choices. Heaven or Hell. Jesus or Satan. Out of ignorance falls the vast majority of all the worlds woes. One of the greatest, if not The Greatest sins is Pride. God hates it. Satan embodies it. Satan is doomed for Hell eternal. Are you?

Many people, because of pride, do not want to believe that there really is a God who created all things – like the Bible clearly shows to even a child, if they’ll just read it and seek Him. Most people don’t want to believe in the God who made them and made the rules, because they don’t want to take responsibility or be held accountable. They want to live life on their own terms. They want to sin. Most love darkness and all its evil deeds. Repent! Run to the light. Turn away from sin and all the things of this world. Seek, first, the Kingdom of Heaven, and all good things will be given to you, according to His will, simply because you put your faith and trust in Him who made you. Show a little respect, please.

We humans are proud, arrogant, stubborn, selfish, and horribly distracted by everything in this wicked world. Our hearts are wicked from birth. Humans are not inherently good. We have a darkness in our hearts and we must be taught not to do evil. We use to be very good when God first made us in His image. Back in the Beginning. The true Beginning as the Bible so plainly says. God made mankind and said it was very good. Then, suddenly, man used his Free Will to disobey God and it all went to Hell.

I’m human and have been and still am all of those sinful things, above, by nature, so don’t try to convince me otherwise. Experience is a great teacher and I have nearly 65 years of experience on Earth. I am not perfect or the most wise, but I know a Guy…who wrote a good book. He knows what He’s talking about, if we’ll only read it, listen to Him, and obey.

I am saved by the Grace of God and not through anything I’ve done. I am saved by the blood of Jesus Christ who died on the cross, was buried, then rose, again, and ascended into Heaven where He sits, right now, at the right hand of Our Father in Heaven just waiting for the moment He is to return for His Bride, the church, the true believers. I am saved by Grace alone through Faith alone in Christ alone. I am saved because God loves me…and you…and sent His Son to die for us. I am saved because I believe it is true. I believe in Jesus.

Pride, arrogance, stubbornness, selfishness, apathy, laziness, and a thousand other things all can contribute to our ignorance of and rebelliousness against God. How can you ignore God? Easily, apparently. First, He gave all of us Free Will. Mankind has always found a way to ignore and rebel against God. Plus, in this modern world of technology, just hand any child a “smartphone” or tablet and leave them alone for a few hours connected to never-ending, fully streaming filth cluttering every corner of the wicked world wide web. Anyone who wants to see this blatant truth will. Those who want to avoid their responsibility to our beloved children will not. The Communists, Socialists, and Marxists are, basically, the same ideology, but notice they are so similar in nature to the worst of them all…Satanists. They all know that the way to destroy a people or nation and control them is to take, kill, and devour the children, first. Like Moloch or Ba’al, they are “eating” your children, still; they begin with their brains. Evil eats its young. Evil murders its children. Where are you in this spiritual fight for what is right?

God loves you. Satan hates you. We wonder why our children are killing themselves and each other, shooting up then shooting up their schools, teachers, parents, and looting Main Street while burning down the village that raised them. Or didn’t raise them, properly, is more appropriate. Shooting, looting, shooting up, snorting, inhaling, vaping, overdosing, sexting, texting, dying and crying out for help because they’re frightened to death and feel helpless seeking guidance from those who refuse to provide it and the discipline they so very desperately need. Discipline is love. A so-called parent or guardian, teacher and even preacher, today, would rather give a horribly misnamed “smartphone” or other digital device of pure evil to a child quicker than a binky, every time it cries. You really must hate your children to do this.

Shut it up! Hush little children! Here, watch this. Oooh, pretty pictures. Moving pictures. Pornographic pictures. Porn, porn, porn. All wrapped up in a neat little toy that, truly, embodies some of Satan’s best efforts at distracting, controlling, and deceiving humans. Devouring their brains. That Satan, he is so brilliant. The shining one. The Evil One.

The saying “it takes a village to raise a child” is still true, today, but the majority of the, alleged, adults in every modern culture and society in this wicked world allows every electronic distraction imaginable to babysit for them, which only lets Satan shove his subtle deception in so quickly that he’s creating little demons faster than we can boil holy water. And the fake holy water isn’t going to wash anything away.

Only the blood of Jesus Christ can wash away your sins. It’s in the Bible. Beware those who don’t want you to, actually, read the Bible. Teach your children well. Tell them about God and Jesus while they’re young. Take them to a good church. Study the Bible with them. Just do it. Read the Bible, yourself, first, cover to cover, then read it to them. Read it with them. Pray with them. Pray for them. Be a good example. Do not do what I did.

Disclaimer: I was a horrible young father. I was absent. Selfish. Loving the world and seeking to do what I wanted to do instead of being a responsible provider, protector, and most importantly a good Godly example showing my children who and what they could look up to and strive to be like. I’ve learned from my failures. I do not preach what I have not also learned, and I have more fingers pointing back at me than I am pointing at the world. Disbelieve me at your own peril. He that hath an ear, let him hear!

Thankfully, my children did have many good people in their young lives when I was young and dumb and selfish and stupid and sinful and absent. I failed them. I don’t want to fail you and your children, however. Not having a good father has been one of the main contributors to the worlds’ woes, especially here in the United States. I failed my children, my young wife, my family, and me, horribly. I have paid and am still paying for that. So is the world. When we do not raise our children, Satan will do it for us.

Thankfully, we all have a Good Father…in Heaven. And He wrote a Good Book to guide us. Maybe you’ve heard of it. It’s called the Bible. I suggest you read it. And I am soooo sick and tired of hearing people say “I don’t like to read.” Fine, then go to Hell. You’ll have an eternity to weep, wail, gnash your teeth and whine about not liking to read and study the Word of God. God loves you. He will not force you to be with Him in Heaven if you hate Him so much. He will give you exactly what you say you want. An eternity without Him. Hell is separation from God. You truly do not know what you’re asking for, which is why ignorance will destroy you. I suggest reading something to enlighten your mind.

How does Satan do it? One mind at a time. Same as he did from the Beginning. He started with Adam & Eve in the Garden, and he’s been doing the same ol’ thing for thousands of years. In this modern world, as if that’s an improvement, Satan is still at it destroying the world one soul at a time. Destroy the family, break up the marriage, make it easy, quick, and cheap to divorce; scatter the children to the wind in an abusive childcare system, which has little to do with caring for them; ruin the education system and rot their little minds; let the weak and feeble-minded and corrupt politicians police them; poison them with the air they breath, the water they drink, and the food they eat; start endless wars and conflicts that rage on for decades so we can slaughter our sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, mothers, and fathers via endless enemies created by our own governments, then tax us to pay for all of it. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Sometimes, I think we’re already in Hell.

Satan’s brilliant. His plan is going very well. The church has been absent. Silent, mostly. Weak, woke, and more afraid of not catering to the culture than they should be of the One who Heads His Church and will send all those who abuse His children to Hell, which is the second death. Fear not the one who can only kill you, once; the death of the flesh. Fear the One who made you and can send your soul to oblivion; an eternity of weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth.

The torture of Hell is very real. The worst pain, though, will be realizing that God was always real and that His Bible did not lie, but you ignored it all. Satan lied, of course, but that’s what he’s good at, being the Father of Lies. Satan was a thief and a murderer from the very beginning and only seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. He is the Great Deceiver. The Beast of Revelation. The Antichrist. The not-Christ who has always been in this world that he “rules” with a little “r” for he is only a pretentious little “god” with a little “g.” So far, it may look like the Prince of Darkness is winning, but his time is running out. So is yours, if you do not believe in Jesus.

So, this isn’t a very happy first meeting, huh? Not a warm fuzzy welcome, you say, or a big comfy hug getting to know me? I won’t apologize for my priorities and how strongly I feel about them. Why would anyone want to be told such gloom and doom? Because truly loving someone means to tell them the truth, even if it isn’t popular. Even if it sounds harsh or steps on their toes. I’ll try to say it lovingly, at first, with compassion and kindness. I did say it compassionately, at first. Were you listening? We really only hear what we want to hear. The rest is on permanent ignore.

I’ve never been one to tell children to go play in traffic. When you see the innocent about to be harmed, the selfless person will try to warn them; shout or run to snatch them away from danger, pain, or imminent death.

If your house is on fire, would you want me to just walk on by? Do you want me to whisper “Hey, your house is on fire”? You might be a heavy sleeper. Shouldn’t I be a little more aggressive about such an urgent matter? Shouldn’t I run up and pound on your door yelling “Wake up! Get out! Your house is on fire!”? Break the window, go in and drag out the sleeping ones, the injured, or smoke-inhalation victims? You know, be a Good Samaritan.

Worry about the damages to their front door and window, later. Worry about how they prefer to be awakened, even during a catastrophe, after the disaster is averted. Don’t step and speak lightly when the world is burning. Rush and grab some water and try to put it out! Of course, in this woke and wicked world, trying to be a Good Samaritan will probably get you arrested, fined, and imprisoned for breaking and entering, trespassing, and kidnapping. Maybe even shot.

So, I’m the enemy because I try to warn you or even “save” you from certain death and destruction when I invade your not-so-safe-space and don’t let you sleep comfortably numb in your mindless dreams of fame and fortune in a world gone mad? You’re living in a nightmare world of your own doing. You’re a zombie and don’t even know it. You are already infected. It would be funny, if it wasn’t so sad and tragic.

Evil doesn’t always look like the walking dead, at first. You don’t always see it coming. Evil is subtle. Sexy. Easy on the eyes. Gorgeous. Handsome. Sounds good. Tastes better. Feels great. Evil is wearing a robe of white light. Evil is and has been living, working, and playing among you from the Beginning. Evil is, usually, everything you think it’s not and you’re sleeping with it, eating it, drinking it, wearing it, longing for it, desiring it, seeking it everywhere, always. It is no coincidence that “Evil” is “Live,” backwards. When you Live backwards – going the Wrong Way – it is Evil. God wants you to choose Life. Choose Jesus, for He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Believe in Jesus and truly Live, abundantly, forever. Go any other way and you are choosing spiritual Death. Jesus is the Only Way!

I’m telling you and yelling at you because I love you. The world is on fire and the whole thing is about to burn down. Wake up! Get out! Repent! Turn away from this wicked world and turn back to God! Turn back to His rule and authority; His commandments. His way is the only way that works. Obey Him and live, forever in Heaven. Keep disobeying and you will be doomed to an eternity in Hell.

Don’t like the message? I’m not the only one saying it. If you don’t like me or how I’m speaking the truth, then please find someone who you CAN listen to, but more importantly, learn how to discern the truth and believe it, no matter who’s saying it. I don’t want you listening to me, anyway. I want you to listen to the Lord. I don’t want you reading what I write. I want you reading His Holy Scriptures.

I don’t want anything from you. I’m not selling anything. I’m not writing a book or asking for donations. I don’t want you to pay me for anything. But if you could just pay attention for a few moments, now, it could save you from an Eternity in Hell, later. You can thank me in Heaven, if you want to, but I assure you that we’ll all be singing God’s praises and honoring Him, for it is all for His Glory and not for any of us. His Will is my will for you. Please believe in Him. Believe in Jesus before it’s too late, for He is coming, soon!

I would love to have you as a Brother or Sister in Christ. I would love to work with you for our Lord & Savior for Eternity doing God knows what. I’ll gladly stand at one of the Pearly Gates, greeting people, daily, like an old man at Walmart, if God just lets me into Heaven. I’ve been assured of admittance simply because I believe in Jesus, but His Blessed Hope and inheritance from the Father assures so much more. Being a Follower of Christ isn’t easy, here on Earth, but the retirement plan is out of this world.

Now, many people think they’ve got it all figured out, beyond a shadow of a doubt, but do they, really? Do you? Are you willing to risk your Eternal soul because someone told you the Bible was a bunch of fairy tales and you believed it? Did you read it? All of it? Did you understand it? Or maybe you heard that Jesus was just a man, or that God doesn’t exist and we are all descended from monkeys? Does that feel real to you?

Ever notice how the only religion or religious figure that is continually and equally condemned by the world is Christianity and Jesus Christ? Thousands of other beliefs or faiths are allowed and encouraged. Go ahead, believe in any of them and the world will build you a place to worship. But if you believe in the Bible, in the Word of the Judaeo-Christian God and His Son, Jesus, then you are called a fanatical fool or religious nut. Hmm, why might this be? Could it be because Satan knows that there is only one true faith? Only One true God? See, even Satan knows the truth. He knows God is real. Satan knows the Bible is true. And he knows, now, that Jesus Christ died for you. Satan’s a dead “man” walking or rather a dead angel fallen. Satan is the world’s first zombie and he’s been leading the walking dead from the Beginning.

Well, as welcomes go, this one is a bit long, I think, and certainly not what most were expecting or desiring. Some will never even have bothered to begin listening. Some will click away, quickly, when they hear the direction it’s taking. Some might hang around a bit and listen more, or read about the Good News and some of my other ramblings on the website. And a very, very few will Subscribe and come back, again, because something just resonates with them. Which one are you? Many are called but few are chosen. Not everyone who says “Lord, Lord…” will enter into Heaven.

Is the Holy Spirit nudging you to listen, read, and ponder these things? Is He tugging at your heart? Knocking upon your door? Do you feel ready to accept Jesus as your Lord & Savior? Don’t dawdle. Time is short. You may have less than 60 seconds. Your soul is eternal, but you don’t have an eternity to figure it all out and make the correct choice. Believe in Jesus, now. Humble your heart and confess His name as Lord. Study His Holy Word. Grow in your faith. Share the Gospel with others, and go make more disciples. Become an Ambassador for Christ and the Kingdom of Heaven. Help God’s family grow.

I could go on and on, naturally, as I’m sure you can tell. I love talking about Jesus. I love reading and studying His Holy Word. I love teaching it. I don’t claim to be great at it, but I think God wants us to do what we love to do, especially if it brings Him honor and glory. He deserves all the praise. I’m just trying to show up and obey His call to Share the Gospel.

I’m not a professional educator or scholar. I don’t have a degree, but last time I read the Bible, Jesus asked a bunch of fishermen to follow Him. I am a carpenter’s son, too. Does that carry any weight? It shouldn’t, nor should it have to. All we’re asked to do is believe in Him, Jesus Christ, and follow Him. Share the Gospel and make disciples of mankind. That’s both male and female, by the way, in case you’re a recovering wokeaholic. I’m a recovering radio dude with no preferred pronouns. You can kill me, if you want. I know where I’m going.

If I can help even one person find the true path to God through Jesus Christ so that they will inherit Eternal Life in Heaven, then I will have obeyed my Father’s calling. If each of us would humble our hearts before the Lord, and pick up our cross and follow Him, then no matter what comes our way, we will achieve all things through Christ Jesus according to His will.

We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, if it is according to His will. If each of us could shine a light to guide just one more soul along the path to Jesus, then the last soul that is going to be saved will, finally, see the light more quickly and then we can all just go Home. I believe that day is coming sooner than most realize. I am looking up, and watching and waiting for His return. I am just one more Watchman on the Wall waiting for Jesus to appear. I am only here to warn the people and blow the horn. Are you listening? Can you hear it? Can you hear Him? He’s calling you home.

God is real. The Bible is true. And Jesus Christ died for you that you may have Eternal Life. Believe in Jesus and be saved! It’s just that simple. Please don’t let pride or anything else keep you out of Heaven. Stop listening to humans or those who appear to be human saying anything opposite to this. They are either demonically possessed fools, lying out their wazoo, or incredibly ignorant fools who aren’t capable of critical thought, reasoning, and logic. Believing in Jesus is not a cult. That’s what Satan wants you to think, but it’s the other way around and always has been. The Great Deceiver always tries to make you think that what he’s selling is the truth, and what you believe is the lie. Wake up. Don’t be a zombie.

Jesus loves you. He is calling. Do you hear Him? Will you answer Him? Will you answer, now? For time is running out, your world is burning, and you may only have 60 seconds to live. Personally, I have no problem scaring the Hell out of you, if that’s what it takes to keep you out of Hell.
