If Israel is God’s prophetic timepiece, then where, rather, WHEN are we in the approach to the End of the World as we know it?

Well, there’s far too much that can be said about Israel, history, and Bible prophecy, so I will share my observations and opinion as I see all the signs of the times converging.

This is Fall, 2023. Every 4th Quarter in our malls and big box stores, what do we see happening? A hustle and bustle of activity. Christmas decorations start to emerge and, already, the merchants are looking ahead to their biggest shopping season.

When you start seeing signs of Christmas everywhere, what does that tell us? Thanksgiving is just around the corner! It’s almost here. The time is short and that special day is near. So, what does this have to do with End Times prophecy?

When the Signs of the Times begin to increase in frequency and intensity, then – like birth pangs – you know the time for delivery is close at hand. Have you been paying attention to world events?

Wars, rumors of wars, many earthquakes, many floods, high winds, starvation, ethnic tensions and hostilities, countries fighting countries, betrayals, hatred, lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold, etc. These are just the beginning of sorrows, but as they increase…beware!

As written in Matthew 24:4-12, Jesus answered a small group of His disciples upon the Mount of Olives, during a private teaching known as the Olivet Discourse, responding to their questions: “What will be the sign of your [2nd] coming, and of the End of the Age?”

4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you.
5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.
6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 “For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.
10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.
11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.
12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.”

So, if the many Fall signs of Christmas tell us that Thanksgiving is near, then all these signs of Jesus’ Second Coming tell us that the Rapture or Snatching Away (to be Caught Up) is imminent. Are you ready? Jesus is coming back, soon, to gather us in the air and take us to Heaven. This is our Blessed Hope.

Now, I am human and fallible. While I know not to predict the “day or hour” of the Lord Jesus’ return (His 2nd Coming or the Rapture), I feel strongly that we are to know as much as we can glean from scripture, so we may surely understand the season of our Savior’s next physical visitation to Earth.

The shortest verse in the Bible (a man-determined bit of textual formatting, at most) is in the New Testament:

‘Jesus wept.’
– John 11:35.

The context? He wept for Israel because they did not receive Him or believe He was their promised Messiah. The Pharisees, Sadducees, scribes and other Jewish leaders did not know the hour of His visitation, though it was prophesied in the Book of Daniel down to the very moment when it was, literally, fulfilled!

Why did they not know? Because their hearts were hardened against the Lord, and they were, mostly, wicked in their ways with continuing disobedience towards the Holy One of Israel.

When you turn away from God, He will, eventually, give you what you want: to be left alone to do as you please, no matter how far your sinful, unlawful lusts take you away from the Most High God’s desires for His chosen people. God will turn you over to your reprobate mind.

Just as Pharoah did, during the days of Moses and the plagues in Egypt, the Jews kept hardening their hearts until this stubborn, stiff-necked people’s eyes were “covered” that they might not recognize the truth, and the Jews have been, partially, blinded ever since.

Whether it is because you do not believe in God or His Holy Scriptures, or you’re too busy with the distractions of the world to be bothered to study the text, you will not understand God’s Word without making an effort.

We are commanded to study God’s Holy Word to show ourselves approved…that we may rightly divide the truth. Jesus’ arrival in Jerusalem upon the foal of a donkey was prophesied and fulfilled on the exact day it was foretold in the Book of Daniel the prophet.

Do the study. Read the Word. Understand the prophets of old, for the “Old Testament is the New Testament concealed, and the New Testament is the Old Testament revealed” (Thank you, Dr. Chuck Missler).

God, through His Holy Spirit, inspired the prophets to write down the End from the Beginning. Only the God of Israel can do this. The Judeo-Christian Bible is the ONLY book that contains well over 1,000 amazing prophecies, told well in advance of their fulfillment (some are over 2,500 years old).

No other human book, false prophet, or “god” can make this claim and back it up with evidence. The Holy Bible does. It has, before, and it will continue to prove infallible in it’s unerring and uncanny ability to predict future events, and there are hundreds that remain to be fulfilled at God’s appointed time.

God does not want to weep over the ignorance of His people, to include the Gentiles who have been grafted into the Vine, through faith in Jesus Christ, and are, now, Children of the Most High God. We are the adopted children of the New Covenant, and we are expected to know the Word of our Father in Heaven.

True Followers of Christ are supposed to study the prophecies, so we will know what to expect in these Last Days, before the appointed Hour of God’s Wrath, which will be poured out upon the Earth in the final, 70th Week of Jacob’s Trouble, as prophesied in the Book of Daniel.

This prophetic Book of Daniel was then sealed up until the End Times. Well, we are very near the end of the End Times, now, for one of the most important signs was the return of Israel to its covenant land, which fulfilled the prophecy that the Nation of Israel would be born, again, in a single day.

On May 14, 1948, Israel became a nation, once more, fulfilling a great and very unique prophecy that no other nation can lay claim to since the dawn of time. Furthermore, this moment was heralded as the first bloom, again, of the Fig Tree; the national symbol for Israel indicating new growth after 2,500 years of the diaspora or scattering of the Jews among the nations.

Though difficult, Israel’s rebirth and growth, guided and protected by our Most High God, has continued to this day as they flourish economically, agriculturally, technologically, and militarily. What’s missing? They still lack, spiritually, for the scales have not yet been lifted, fully, from their eyes. The Jews are still partially blinded by the Lord for their disloyalty and disobedience to His commandments.

There is still no Jewish Temple (since 70 AD), for radical Islam controls the Temple Mount, but more importantly, the Jews have yet to recognize their grave mistake in killing their Messiah, Jesus. The Orthodox Jew believes their prophesied Messiah has not come, still.

Jesus told His disciples in the Gospel of Matthew that “…you will not see Me, again, until you say “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.”

This will not happen until near the end of the Great Tribulation as the Anti-Christ pursues God’s chosen people to slaughter them. Only one-third shall be saved. A tiny remnant prophesied and waiting to be fulfilled as with ALL other prophesies by Yahweh, the Mighty One of Israel.

True to His Word – the Holy Scriptures – Jesus will return just in time to fulfill His own prophecy and save the Jewish remnant from a certain second genocide. Jesus is faithful and true, and He will walk with each of us to the very end.

2nd Peter 3:8 reads “But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord, a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.” There is much that can be understood about this, but it would take too long to explain.

Let me just say that the Time of the Gentiles (the Church Age or Age of Grace for the past 2,000 years) is quickly coming to a close. Since there are many things to understand about Bible prophecy, and it requires much focus and attention to detail, I shift, now, to a more general and poetic prose using analogy to describe where we are on God’s prophetic timeline.

Remember, I’m human and this is my interpretation, though many others would agree:
By my calculation, it’s nearly 2 days since Repentance with about a minute or less to go on the Doomsday Clock as most fearful humans call it. Fear not! Join me in looking up for our Blessed Hope and arrival of the Starlight Express to Foreverland.

You see, I’m going to a wedding in Heaven. Then after a time, I’ll also have a new home and a new job on a new Earth and in a new Heaven. Yep, I’m moving. Onward and upward, some would say. Not for anything I’ve done, but because of what the Messiah did on the cross for all of us who believe in Him.

My Golden Ticket was bought by the blood of Jesus Christ, so my passage to Heaven was paid for in advance. It’s been nearly two-thousand years since He purchased it (at a very high price), and I had to claim it before I died or before things start turning really ugly, down here, which – by all accounts – looks like it’s happening, right now.

It makes sense that you can’t claim something after you’re dead, but there’s very strong indications that life on Earth is going to get worse and worse. As a student of history and the Bible, I’ve noticed that what God says, repeatedly, is proving true, again and again. Very strange, perhaps, but undeniably true.

Now, I’m not afraid of dying. My soul is eternal, but this ol’ mortal body has a “Best if Used” By Expiration Date. No worries. My ticket out of here claims there is no need for Earthly baggage, where I’m going, so I’ll be traveling light. I even get a corporeal upgrade at no extra charge. That means a new, Heavenly body, by the way. It’s the Glorified 2.0 multidimensional model, but don’t quote me.

I trust Him, so, before it’s too late, I hope everyone else will claim their FREE ticket. Yes, FREE! It bears repeating. Shouting, even. You can’t beat a FREE ticket to Heaven. It is unimaginable, really; only a thousand-gazillion times better than Earth, even though this fallen world has had a few bright spots.

Everyone I know, down here on Earth, is worn out and wants a much needed break. Did I mention the ticket is FREE? I don’t even have to pack because everything I need will be provided, forever, once I get to Heaven.

This Golden Ticket is my Eternal passport, plus there won’t be any TSA goons rummaging through my shampoo and sun lotion bottles looking for terrorist bombs. No terrorists where I’m going or on the flight. Gabriel, one of the Special Agents, told me that my ticket is a +1 round trip.

It’s FREE for me and the Holy Spirit to go to our Father’s House (I think it’s a very nice time share) for the Wedding of the Lamb, including an amazing marriage feast, BEMA Awards ceremony, then back to Earth for a thousand-year honeymoon.

I believe it’s more of a working vacation, but I must say that I love my Boss and would do anything for Him. In fact, I’d go to Hell and back for the Guy. He’s that cool.
However, He already went there and finished the job for everyone who serves in His Father’s Kingdom, so the hard part is done. It’s a family-owned business; been around…forever, really.

I’m not concerned about nepotism. I know, I know, here on Earth that causes a lot of problems. But seriously, this creative group is the best. They treat everyone like family; I mean, the love you feel from upper management is amazing. I only wish I had signed on, sooner.

Oh, one thing, though. We don’t get any sick days, but they have the best health plan, so no one ever dies. I’m telling you, it’s paradise. If I told you about all the wonders, there, you probably wouldn’t believe me.

Well, I need to make some last-minute preparations. I’ve made a little checklist; just to make sure I haven’t forgotten anything. Plus, I wanted to leave a little something for those who haven’t decided to claim their FREE ticket, yet.

Seriously? You’re not interested in a FREE ticket to paradise? Are you crazy? Okay, it’s your choice. But if you change your mind, here’s how to claim your FREE ticket to Heaven:

A) Admit you’re a sinner. Seek God. Really, really seek Him. Ask Him to forgive you.
B) Believe on His Son, Jesus Christ. Know in your heart that Jesus died on the cross for your sins, was buried, then rose, again, on the third day defeating Death, Sin, and Satan.
C) Confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is your Lord & Savior.

For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For “everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved.” – Romans 10: 9 & 14 ESV

God is Real. The Bible is true. And Jesus Christ died for you! Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Jesus.

This is My Last Minute of the Last Hour Checklist Before I’m Out of Here. I need to remember to:

1) Be humble. Don’t gloat about where I’m going. Happy shouting is permitted, if I can’t contain myself.
2) Encourage others to CLAIM their FREE ticket to Heaven!
3) Be supportive and compassionate to my fellow travelers.
4) Be forgiving and loving towards those who refuse to claim their ticket.
5) Don’t worry about those I’m leaving behind. God’s got this.
6) Pray for them, though, and write a note, maybe, to remind them of their FREE personal ticket.
7) They can still claim it, if it isn’t too late. You know, due to Death or the Lord’s Return.
8) Leave a good Bible, or any good Christian book or study materials that point the way to Jesus.
9) Pray! Keep praying! Pray for all those who reject their FREE ticket to paradise.
10) Keep your lamp filled with oil and trim your wick. Faithfully keep watch. Don’t fall asleep!
11) Be ready to blow the shofar (ram’s horn) should you see danger on the horizon. Warn the people!
12) Look UP! For the Kingdom of Heaven is near, and Jesus is coming, soon!

Read the Bible. Study the last book in the Bible: the Book of Revelation of Jesus Christ. You do NOT want to be here on the Earth after the Rapture of the Saints; the true Christian believers. The church is NOT a building. It is the body of believers in Christ Jesus. The church is the Body of Christ.

Soon, the Syrian city of Damascus will be wiped out. I believe it will happen within a very few years from now. I could be wrong. No matter. When it happens, though, that is a fulfillment of Bible prophecy from the book of the prophet Isaiah:

“An oracle concerning Damascus. Behold, Damascus will cease to be a city and will become a heap of ruins.” – Isaiah 17:1

Look at what’s happening in Israel, now, at the time of this post (October 18, 2023). It’s been over 10 days of war with Hamas in Gaza. Russia is fighting in Ukraine. Russia is allies with Iran (Biblical Persia). Iran supports Hamas and many other Islamic terrorist groups (proxies) determined to wipe Israel from the map. They hate the Jews!

Iran delivers weapons and supplies to its proxy forces throughout the Middle East via Damascus, Syria. One day, in the near future, they will overstep and overstay their welcome in Syria, which borders Israel to the North, and the IDF (Israeli Defense Force), most likely, will utterly destroy Damascus. It’s even possible that the USA will flatten Damascus.

Currently, as of this writing, the USA has the USS Gerald R. Ford aircraft carrier task force in the Mediterranean Sea off the coast of Israel and, hopefully, out of range of Hezbollah or Iranian surface-to-surface missiles, which can take out a large carrier. There’s a scenario, of course, that could drag the USA into a much broader, regional confrontation with Iran.

Iran might sink a carrier. America might decide to destroy Damascus. There are enough nuclear weapons on the USS Gerald Ford carrier with its several squadrons of bombers and fighters to wipe out nearly every major city on the planet. The entire planet! Ponder this.

Regardless of how, why, or when this occurs, the important thing is that God has foretold the complete destruction of Damascus well in advance (over 2,700 years ago). And as with every prophesy of the Lord of Hosts, Almighty God, Yahweh – the Holy One of Israel, and our Christian God, as well, when you Unbelievers see this happen, then you best REPENT and believe in those crazy Christians that you’ve despised for millennia.

Damascus will be destroyed and its rubble will be uninhabitable, thereafter. The Rapture of the Christian believers or church will occur and millions of people will disappear off the face of the Earth. How will you explain that when it happens as prophesied? Satan and his Fallen Angels, and demons will try to make those Left Behind believe it was ALIENS!!!

I’ll tell you how Satan intends to explain it via the remaining, wicked one-world order: Aliens from another galaxy will have traveled, here, and taken all the Christians or “primitive-thinking morons” off the planet to rehabilitate them for the much needed upgrade required for humanity’s transition into the next higher vibration of existence here on Earth.

That’s all utter New Age nonsense. Don’t believe it and DO NOT take the Mark of the Beast, which means you will have sold your soul to Satan and can NEVER be redeemed.

You will be lost, forever, and cast into the Lake of Fire with Satan, his Fallen Angels who rebelled with him and their Nephalim/Demon children (Genesis 6), along with the False Prophet, the AntiChrist, and every other Human Unbeliever who has rejected their FREE ticket to Heaven. Fallen angels and demons are doomed and unredeemable.

Reject Jesus or take the Mark of the Beast and you are doomed! Silly myth, you say? Stupid fairy tale nonsense? Wait till Damascus is completely destroyed and remember that you were warned. Wait till the Christians disappear from the planet and realize that there are no Aliens beaming us up? It may be too late, then, for you will be given over to the great lie.

Do not be deceived. Believe, now, in Jesus Christ as your Lord & Savior! Please believe. Read and study the Bible. It is true. Take it literally, unless it is, obviously, poetic or symbolic. For the Bible is nearly 30% prophecy and about half (500+ of 1,000+) of the prophecies have already been fulfilled – LITERALLY! There are hundreds more prophecies to go before the end of the Great Tribulation.

Read the Book of Revelation. Believe it. Stop denying God. Stop rejecting Christ Jesus. He is the Messiah. Yeshua Hamashiach. Jesus the Messiah. The Anointed One. The Son of the true and living God. The ONLY God who has no peer, no rival, no equal, and no superior. There is only One God and He is Yahweh.

I could go on and on. Few will even read this. It may seem like an exercise in futility. Noah preached for 120 years on the Earth before the Great Flood came pouring down and drowned the entire Earth. Only 8 people were saved; rescued from the Wrath of God, then. Noah, his wife, and three sons and their wives were kept safe aboard the Ark for about a year.

God’s Wrath will be poured out upon all the Earth, again, during the Great Tribulation. The time of Jacob’s Trouble. Jacob is Israel. The name “Israel” means “to struggle with the Lord.” The Jews have struggled with the Lord since the time of Abraham.

However, Almighty God has promised to save a remnant of them through His Day of Wrath when they, finally, realize that they killed their Messiah, Yeshua (Jesus). Finally aware and repentant, the remaining Jews ask God to save them.

And He will…as prophesied. Jesus will return at the end of the Great Tribulation and save a remnant (one third) of the last Jews from the Wrath of God and the demonic intentions of Satan and his minions who want to destroy the Jews. Watch and wait – at your own peril – and see what unfolds. Then, when you see that the Bible is true, perhaps you’ll still have time to call upon the name of the Lord!

But please don’t wait. Believe in Jesus, now. Again, why do I share this? Because my heart is burdened for the Lost by the Holy Spirit. God does not want anyone to perish and spend eternity in Hell.

I’ll say it, again. God is real. The Bible is true. Heaven and Hell are real. There will be another great outpouring of God’s Wrath upon all Earth-dwellers because the wicked unbelievers will not stop sinning and disobeying the Lord.

Maybe, if you read this, you will remember when you see the above things happen. Many more prophecies will be fulfilled, as well. If you don’t know the Bible, then you won’t understand. You’ll just be freaking out in such fear that you will want to die. If you do not know Jesus Christ, personally, before you die, then you will be lost forever in darkness where there is weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Sounds horrible, huh? Too scary for you? Can’t love a God that would do that? Well, He does Not do that to you. YOU DO IT to yourself. He made a way for you to escape the Hour of His Wrath to come. He is Holy, Just, Righteous, Pure, Merciful, Patient, Loving and without sin. He must judge sin, and any who do not seek Him and ask forgiveness, He cannot accept into Heaven.

Imperfection cannot reside with Perfection. Mortal cannot reside with Immortal. Corruptible cannot reside with the Incorruptible. The Blemished Unholy Temporary Flesh of the Unbeliever cannot exist beside the Unblemished, spotless, Infinite, Eternal and Holy Spirit of the Lord God Almighty.

You MUST BELIEVE in Jesus and call upon Him, then you will be saved. Do not wait, for the Kingdom of God is at hand, and you have absolutely no clue as to how long you will live. You do not know how many breaths or heartbeats you have left. God does. You do not know how many more mornings you will wake up. God does.

Turn away from the world. REPENT! Turn away from your wickedness. The Day of Salvation is here. Today is the day. Keep putting it off, and you may miss your ticket out of here. God’s gift of Salvation is FREE! Jesus paid the price on the cross of Calvary. He suffered and died for you and me. He died for the whole world. His great, unselfish work is finished. He sacrificed Himself, so we could be FREE, eternally.

When Jesus died, was buried, then rose from the tomb, He conquered Death, Sin, and Satan who is the Father of Lies, and a murderer from the beginning. Do not be deceived! Here in this last minute of the last hour of these End Times, the Age of Grace is winding down. The Church Age is about to close its doors on this world.

The Heavenly Father will say to His beloved Son, Jesus, who sits upon His throne at His Father’s Right Hand, “Go and get your Bride. Go and bring my children home!” And Jesus will stand up, immediately, for He’s waited two thousand years for this moment. An Archangel will SHOUT as the Last Trumpet (this is NOT the last trumpet of Wrath) call sounds for the Believers to be gathered, then Jesus will return in the clouds above the Earth.

And the dead in Christ (true believers in Jesus) will rise, first, and we who remain (true believers in Jesus) will be taken up to meet Him and our Brothers & Sisters in the air, and we will be changed in the twinkling of the eye. Our old Earthly bodies of dust and flesh will be, immediately, transformed into new, glorious, Heavenly bodies just like Jesus has. And He will smile and take us to His Father’s House where He has prepared a place for us.

Then, the Last Week of Daniel (70th Week according to Daniel’s prophecy) will begin; the Great Tribulation with many judgments against the remaining Unbelievers all over the Earth including Israel. People will still be able to be saved, but it will be the most horrible time in human history the Earth has ever known. Do not wait to have to endure this, for most won’t make it. Most will be murdered, horribly. Believers in Jesus will be martyred; Beheaded!

Think of the recent barbaric atrocities committed against the Israelis by Hamas beginning October 7, 2023. Or recall the Holocaust during the reign of terror by Hitler’s Fascist Nazis in World War II. Now, multiply that by a hundred; a thousand. You cannot imagine the horrors that await the wicked who refuse to believe in God or obey Him.

Those who reject Jesus as their Lord & Savior are sealing their own fate. They are electing to go to Hell. God does not send anyone to Hell. You have Free Will. You may freely choose to love Jesus and accept your FREE Gift of Salvation that was Paid in Full by His blood upon the cross, or you may reject Him and your FREE ticket to Heaven because you’re too proud, stubborn, arrogant, ignorant, and unwilling to submit your hearts to the God who made you.

God is the Creator and Lord of all things. Nothing exists except that it was made by His hands for His pleasure, and He will do His purpose, always, for His Will is Sovereign. There are no other gods but Yahweh. The God of the Old Testament is eternal and unchanging. He is the Alpha & Omega, the Beginning & the End.

Reject Him and spit upon the Bible, or laugh at Christians, torturing or killing us, and you will reap the whirlwind of your own evil…for eternity. REPENT! Seek God. Seek Jesus. Ask Him to forgive you, now. I beg of you to humble your heart, today, and pray that He will hear you. If you seek Him, sincerely, He will never reject you. Seek Him. Do it.

Then read the Bible. Share the True Gospel or Good News of Jesus Christ. That is His command, that you go into all the world and make disciples. Tell others who are Lost how to get to Heaven, just as I’ve shared with you in this writing. Find your own way to say it, but please share it. For if you knew what awaits the wicked, you wouldn’t wish it upon your worst enemy.

More importantly, once you truly know Jesus, personally, and receive His Holy Spirit to indwell you, guiding you and instructing you, then you will wonder what took you so long to believe.

Heaven is near. The Kingdom of God is here! Jesus is coming, soon! REPENT! Believe or perish. You have a choice. Make it, today.

Choose wisely. Choose Jesus!

God is real. The Bible is TRUE. Jesus Christ died for you!
Read the Bible. All of it. Believe it. Obey God!
